But among many papers, mathematics is the most crucial exam. Although many aspirants face problems in the mathematics exam, proper guidance preparation will solve every problem.

4 Effective tips for NDA Aspirant to Prepare Mathematics

This article is all about effective tips that every NDA aspirant should follow to prepare for the math paper. Keep reading this post and understand how you can crack the Math exam with minimal effort.

Strategies to clear the NDA Math Exam in less effort

1. Not making any guesses

Many aspirants think that making guesses or ifs and but while appearing for the NDA Math examination will give good scores. Well, it is wrong! It is because if you make the right guess, then there is no deduction. However, if you make the wrong guess, then 1/3rd of the total marks is deducted. So, jot down the first point of not making any wrong guesses.

Well, not only for mathematics papers, even for another competitive exam follow the same principle. To avoid guessing habits, be confident about the answer, and if you are not sure about the same, then do not attempt. Solve unattempted questions in the final hours of examination.

2. Get well versed with the syllabus

The NDA syllabus of the Mathematics portion is important to prepare. Hence, to get more knowledge about the same, we recommend aspirants to note down all important topics that will come in the examination. A few of them are Statistics, Algebra, and Calculus. To ace the preparation of such modules, we suggest preparing notes and memorizing formulas first.

Practice every module daily and spare some revision time as well to get command over these concepts. Jot down important shortcuts and derivations that help you solve questions quickly. The syllabus is the backbone of any exam. That is why syllabus understanding is the most crucial step to start the examination preparation. Also, remember that once you understand the syllabus and exam pattern, start with important questions that carry more weightage.

3. Have command over decimal and binary system

There are many aspirants who have problems with decimal and binary systems. Decimal and binary systems are sometimes confusing because aspirants make mistakes in the putting point between numbers. Conversion of decimal and binary is easier, and there are several books and reference guides available that help in a better understanding of concepts.

For the NDA Maths paper, we suggest first referring to Class 11th and Class 12th NCERT Maths books. It contains several questions on the binary and decimal system. Practice them regularly and revise them. What if you forget these concepts after a certain time? We suggest maintaining notes and sticking around your study table or in the room.

4. Do not trigonometry

Apart from decimals and other modules, another important module that candidates should not ignore is trigonometry. Remember that trigonometry carries almost 20 questions in the Maths paper. And do not think that this trigonometry is of class 10th level. Practice questions from Class 11th  and 12th  Maths NCERT book.

Besides, practice previous year papers, mock test solutions, and test series that are available online. The more you practice, the more you learn. Hence, be an early bird and start the preparation as soon as possible. However, remember to refer to correct study materials that contain authentic information. Wrong information or knowledge will land up, giving you improper results.
